i'm currently the studio director and partner at polygraph, the pudding's in-house agency.
i oversee our of our client accounts, manage our full-time and freelance team across the studio and publication, assist in day-to-day project management, look after our budget and business development/sales, set long-term strategy on the leadership committee, and make a cool editorial project here and there (when there's time — there's not much).
project management: youtube (culture and trends, ads marketing), google (trends, news initiative, jigsaw, maps), universal music group, linkedin, climate impact lab, the wall street journal, harvard university, the washington post, the boston globe spotlight team, sxm media, etc etc
in 2023, i became a partner at our umbrella company.
email me at caitlyn@polygraph.cool
my background is a mix of technical research and journalism, with a focus on music.
in 2019, transitioned into management—client, project, and team—at polygraph.
before joining the pudding, i spent three years in traditional music journalism while also doing computational internships.
i graduated in may 2020 with a master of science in data visualization at parsons school of design / the new school.
my master's thesis visualized touring history and venue size as a representation of musician career paths, serving as a follow-up to my undergraduate thesis at new college, where i graduated with a bachelors in computer science.
but, the journey started in high school when i did a four-year science fair project in cognitive psychology.
i attended the international fair twice, placing third globally in my category senior year.
in 2017, i was honored as a goldwater scholar.
in my free time, i collect K-Pop photocards 💘, run 🏃🏼♀️ & box 🥊, and daydream about the scottish highlands 🏞️.
you'll probably catch me talking about a band called inhaler, oasis in 1996 (and 2025!!!), my new film camera, and hello kitty island adventure. in that order.
